This article describes me perfectly well. I work tirelessly until I am burnt out and then hate myself for being burnt out. I don’t know how to rest.. and if I magically rest… I don’t know how to pick myself up and keep going. It’s a constant battle, I’m still trying to figure it out.

What helped me was redefining rest as a finish line too.
Not everything has to end in burnout or completion. Sometimes the win is saying, “I’m done for now,” and letting rest be the next thing you start.
Finish lines don’t always look like checkmarks. Sometimes they look like closed laptops and a snack!
